What is the Silk Skin Exfoliating Glove?

Silk Skin is a premium 100% silk exfoliating glove designed to gently remove dead skin cells and surface buildup, leaving your skin feeling smoother, softer and refreshed.

How do I use the Silk Skin glove?

Wet your skin with warm water and allow your skin to soften for a few minutes. Then wet the glove, wring out excess water and gently massage the skin in circular or upward motions. You can use it on your arms, legs, back, stomach and other suitable areas of the body.

No body scrub or soap is necessary while exfoliating.

Should I use it on wet or dry skin?

For best results, use the glove on warm, softened skin after a shower or bath. Your skin should be damp, but not covered in soap or shower gel.

How often should I use the Silk Skin glove?

We recommend starting with once a week. Depending on your skin and how it feels, you may gradually adjust your routine.

Can I use it if I have sensitive skin?

Silk Skin provides deep exfoliation, so if you have sensitive skin, start gently and use less pressure. Always listen to your skin and stop if irritation occurs.

Does it help with ingrown hairs?

Regular exfoliation can help remove dead skin cells and surface buildup that may contribute to clogged pores and ingrown hairs. Silk Skin can therefore be a useful part of an ingrown-hair care routine.

Can Silk Skin remove fake tan?

Yes. Exfoliating with Silk Skin can help remove uneven or fading self-tan and prepare the skin for a more even application.

Can it help with dry, rough skin?

Yes. By removing accumulated dead skin cells, Silk Skin helps reveal smoother, softer-feeling skin and can be especially useful on rough areas such as elbows, knees and legs.

Can I use Silk Skin on scars or stretch marks?

Silk Skin can exfoliate the surface of the skin and improve its smooth, refreshed appearance. However, exfoliation cannot remove scars or stretch marks. Their appearance may vary over time, but results differ from person to person.

Can I use it on surgical scars?

Only use exfoliation on a surgical scar after the wound has completely healed and your doctor has confirmed that exfoliation is appropriate. Silk Skin should never be used on an open, fresh or irritated wound.

How do I clean my Silk Skin glove?

Rinse the glove thoroughly with clean water after each use. Gently squeeze out excess water and allow it to air dry completely in a clean, well-ventilated place.

How long does the glove last?

With proper care, Silk Skin is reusable and designed for repeated use. Its lifespan depends on how frequently and how intensely it is used.

Is Silk Skin made from real silk?

Yes. Silk Skin is made from 100% silk.

Can I share my glove with someone else?

For hygiene reasons, we recommend that each person uses their own glove.

Why isn't my skin peeling immediately?

Everyone's skin is different. The amount of visible skin shedding depends on factors such as your skin type, how long it has been since your last exfoliation, and how well your skin has softened before use. More peeling does not necessarily mean better exfoliation.

Can I use body lotion after exfoliating?

Absolutely. After rinsing and gently drying your skin, applying a moisturizer or body lotion can help keep your skin feeling soft and hydrated.

Is Silk Skin suitable for all skin tones?

Yes. Silk Skin can be used on all skin tones. Always adjust the pressure according to your skin's sensitivity.

Can I use it every day?

We don't recommend daily exfoliation. Give your skin time to recover between exfoliation sessions. Once a week is a good starting point.

Who pays for the return shipping?

Unless the item is defective, incorrect, or we have agreed otherwise, the direct cost of returning an unwanted item is generally the customer's responsibility, provided this was communicated before purchase.

Can I return a glove that I have already used?

Please do not use the glove if you intend to return it.

The statutory withdrawal right can be affected if goods are handled beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. Separate rules can also apply to sealed goods where opening the seal makes them unsuitable for return for hygiene reasons.

How long does my refund take?

Once your withdrawal has been validly exercised and the return requirements are met, refunds are generally made without undue delay and within the applicable legal timeframe.
